Thanks to "Amduscia" for uploading this show originally as well as the other nine that will follow. This was the first show in Japan on the Jimmy Page and Robert Plant No Quarter tour. The guys had wrapped up their touring in America in 1995, and after a short break, they came over to Japan where they finished off their first, real reunion tour as "Page & Plant". This was where the guys started playing and sounding a lot more "Zeppelin like" once again too in my opinion. And they even improved on that each night in the Japan leg of the tour. But I still am disappointed with the "No Quarter" song when they played it this way and not the way Zeppelin would have played it.

This is the first two CD's out of 20 (or ten shows) of Page and Plant playing in Japan in 1996. Hoochie Coochie, the label for this 20 CD set, did a great job of putting the shows together and putting them out. These first two CD's sound superb too.
Page and Plant opened this Japanese leg of their tour by playing six nights in Tokyo, playing two nights in Osaka, playing one night in Nagoya, and then playing their final night in Fukuoka, Japan. The first six shows were in a row and the two Osaka shows were four days apart with the Nagoya show being played right in the middle of them.
I was able to get all 20 CD's as they were torrented and will be trying to upload each show on its 19th anniversary up through February 20th. If for any reason I get a date I cannot make the upload on on its 19th anniversary, I'll either upload it early or upload it a little late. It's hard to tell that far out what may or may not happen and my availability. But I hope to keep the train a rollin' and upload each show at the right time as well as keep the Zeppelin shows coming on their birthdays and any other shows of interest uploading too. I already know this will be a busy month. But I like that!
I hope you enjoy this show...
