Ted Nugent: 1978-12-03 Omaha, NE (FLAC_SB_2 CD)

This is an excellent soundboard of the Ted Nugent concert that occurred 36 years ago tonight.  This was during his Weekend Warrior 1978 tour.  This may have been an FM broadcast I am guessing.  I say this due to the question mark beside "SB" in the information I got on the show.  I can only guess that means someone was wondering if it was an FM stereo broadcast rather than a recording straight off of the soundboard.

The waveform shows more sound (higher decibels) in the left channel.  And knowing that now, I can hear it too.  But it still sounds excellent and it is not a big deal.  In fact, it may be normal for this recording to be that way too?  I was going to level each channel equally but decided to leave it as is.  There is also a tiny bit of audio clipping, but again, it's nothing show stopping or even noticeable if you weren't looking at the waveform.

I hope you enjoy the show...

Ted Nugent: 1976-07-28 Houston, TX (FLAC_SB Master_1 CD)

This is a cool show I forgot I had until earlier today.  This is a copy of a first generation cassette sourced from the master, mono soundboard recording.  This concert was being aired live over KILT Houston (I think AM radio back then) and this source is from the master and not a recording from the radio broadcast of the show.  This recording is very clean and sounds excellent!

Here is some interesting information from the original source for this recording.  I'm just doing the "copy & paste" deal here on their comments.

ORIGINAL NOTES:
---------------------
Recorded back before all the bullsh** stage banter, and the constantly running off of the mouth this first generation soundboard was given to one of my best friends (who was a big fan) by Ted himself. The story goes he was giving Uncle Ted a lift to the airport and on a whim asked him if he had any unreleased live recordings (my buddy's a big live music collector) and Ted proceeded to pull this tape out of his bag telling him it was off the board and he could get another one. Eventually, he and Ted had a falling out, apparently Ted can be a bit of a pain in the a** (imagine that) and my buddy demanded an apology that Ted never gave. Anyway, this has been a guilty pleasure over the years, recorded during one of the same tours (not shows) that produced "Double Live Gonzo" and I've snail mail traded it and offer it here with my friends approval.

Not a perfect soundboard, the instruments are slightly "back" but it's pretty clean and this is a new transfer that I'm more pleased with than the previous one I put into circulation.

Thank's Too  mjk5510 For The Show And Story

Enjoy!
