Led Zeppelin: 1975-02-04 Uniondale, NY (FLAC_AUD Master_1 CD)

It was 40 years ago tonight this show was taking place.  Unfortunately, this recording is a poor one with a few good spots.  It also has cuts in some songs as well as incomplete recordings (kind of the same thing I guess) and is only part of the show.  This is definitely one for completeness in a collection only because it is not a good recording at all.

Even though this is a show you may listen to once in your life if you even listen that far, it is nice to have some documented sounds from it.  The recorder used was terrible on the bass too.  It could not even remotely record those frequencies and it causes a distorted type of overdubbing on the rest of the show's audio.  In other words, like now as I listen to "Trampled Underfoot", I can hear Plant singing and hear the keyboard, but the bass (being played by John Paul Jones via the keyboard) is drowning out the other instruments drastically with it's blown speaker type of sound.

I was just looking at the original information and here is a copy and paste of the taper's notes.

Ed's Notes:
"I recorded this show with my Panasonic portable cassette deck from the 300s section on Robert's side of the stage. Unfortunately the quality of the cassette deck and the tapes used wasnt very good. Even more unfortunate is that during the year following the concert, I recorded over most of the tapes (I had recorded the whole show) which was quite a stupid thing to do to say the least..... "

I hope you enjoy owning a copy of this show..
