Led Zeppelin: 1969-04-27 San Francisco, CA (FLAC_SB Master Reel_2 CD)

I'm trying to play catch up and get some more requested shows uploaded here today.  I'd promised to upload this one for a friend a few weeks ago and now I am finally doing it.  I started this morning preparing it but realized near the end that the person who shared it asked for no file changes to be made to the file set if it was shared again.  So I had to find the original file set, download it, and now upload it tonight.  I like to honor the request of others sharing something just like I like to have request I make honored too at certain times.

This is a superb sounding soundboard recording and performance of Led Zeppelin at the famous Fillmore West in one of their 1969 concerts there.  And there were many performances at the Fillmore West that year too.  This is a copy of the master reel and it is what I believe is the definitive copy of the show.  The file set has not been altered on bit and is exactly how I downloaded it directly from the upload made by the person sharing it.

A special "thank you" goes to "Spider_Web" for sharing this copy for sure!

Once again, all thanks goes to "Spider-Web" for sharing this copy and making it available a while back (2008).  There are a lot of different copies of this show from the labels to low generation and fan remasterd copies.  There are also audience recordings as well.  But I believe this circa 1990 (research shows it may be 1979) analog master reels to DAT transfer that was encoded as FLAC files in  January 2008 is the one copy every Led Zeppelin fan should have I believe.

This show was broadcast over FM radio too at least twice in past years.  And the copies,  both FM broadcasted and recorded off-air and pre-FM ones, sound superb too.  But I still think this transfer is the best.  It was just re-tracked and then converted to FLAC from what I can tell in 2008.

I mentioned that "Spider_Web" requested that the file set remain intact and not be changed.  And I've spent a day going to the trouble of honoring this request by downloading the original file set (even what I first got had changes made) a second time straight from the source posting of it.  So I ask you to do the same and not change a thing.  All the extras, whetther they benefit you or not, that I like doing I did not do in this upload because I wanted it to be "as is" when it was shared.

For any extra information see the original text file enclosed in the zipped download files.

I hope you enjoy the show...
