Journey: 2006-09-03 Reno, NV (FLAC_SB Multitrack_2 CD)

This is an excellent multitrack soundboard of Journey's Reno, Nevada show that i got a few years ago while they still had Jeff Scott Soto singing on vocals.  His filling in was short lived even though Journey had considered him for replacing singer Steve Augeri.  However, when the dust settled the band went with Arnel Pineda.  So this is a rare capture of a soudboard Journey show with their post Steve Perry shortest kept singer.

I'm not sure why the first track, "The Star Spangled Banner", was split into two tracks.  I was going to merge them into one track but decided not to so the tracks matched up on the artwork.  I am joining the first two tracks on CD 2 together to form one track.  The FLAC files are broken up into the first two tracks named "piano solo" and "Open Arms".  But since the artwork only shows "Open Arms", I'll fix that.

This is reportedly a multitrack recording but it's hard to tell for sure.  It sounds excellent, but when compared to some of the other multitrack recordings I've uploaded, it doesn't seem to have that extra separation in the audio I'm listening for.  To be completely honest, I don't know how a multitrack recording should sound and I guess it all depends on how it is mixed before prior to the final production being done.
