Today is the 45th anniversary of this Led Zeppelin show that surfaced in March of 2013.  There is only one source for this show known to exist.  But there are about a dozen labels and renditions of it from those who wanted to take a stab at redoing it.  Some projects were good while others flat out stunk!

Like the previous Led Zeppelin upload yesterday of the 2007-12-05 rehearsal, this recording has the maximized audio levels in the waveform but shows no clipping with Audacity.  Again, was a limiter or compressor used?  I have no idea because I still don't understand how they do this.  But when you look at the waveform you don't see many peaks and valleys in the audio because they aren't there.  The recording sounds fine, but the waveform just doesn't look like it should from what I do understand.

Going through the Tarantura, EVSD, Godfather, fan remasters, etc copies; this one was the most pleasant to the ears.  I still think the master copy with very light EQ work sounds best.  And if you want that one, just look and it is here.  You'll find it fast if you search in the search box for "1969-12-06" (without the quotation marks).

This is such an awesome show to have finally surfaced after 43 years.  It just goes to show the uncirculated audience recordings are out there still (not to mention the soundboards we know of too).
