Here's a show I went to and recorded in Dallas a little over two months ago. It was my third time seeing Tesla (earlier times were in the late 1980's) and they put on an awesome show!
I'll get straight to the important information and add the extra details on the show afterwards!

Here's a little background on the night's events. My buddy John and his girlfriend Deena asked me if I wanted to go see the Tesla the show with them a few days earlier. Of course, I said yes. We bought the general admission tickets at the venue window (and the show sold out right afterwards I later learned) and had to wait outside because the doors were opening later than they were suppose to. I brought my Zoom H4n digital audio recorder (source 1) and my Zoom H2 digital audio recorder (source 2) because I always believe in having at least one backup. And it's a good thing I did this as I'll explain soon. Looking back now, I wish I'd brought a camera and a video camera but I didn't because I thought I'd be standing on the floor being bumped around.
After getting inside of the venue, I separated from my friends who were going to the general admission floor level because I knew the House of Blues was cool about aiding disabled people. And being legally blind, I talked to the guy at the door of the lower balcony seating area and he said he could let me an one other friend in for the great seats but not all of us since the show was sold out. I knew my two friends wanted to be together through the show so I went on in myself. I managed to maneuver around a small barrier and get dead center on the second row of the lower balcony. I was happy with my seating because the House of Blues' lower balcony goes out over the floor and I was no more than 30 feet (a "guesstimate") from the stage. My only hope was that whoever sat in front of my wouldn't be screaming because that would be picked up on my microphones.
Soon afterward, and before the show, the people who had the tickets to my seat arrived and I moved down to the only other available seat on the second row. And sure enough, that person with a ticket to that seat arrived too. There was one seat on the front row I'd avoided because I thought it'd make me stand out and be noticed as I was recording. But at this point, I moved up a row to the front row, dead center seat where I had a much better seat because nobody could be in front of me to mess up the audio no matter how much they hooted and hollered. Even with my vision, I could see a lot of details on stage. And the rest is recorded history!
I had the Zoom H2 hanging around my neck and on my chest and the Zoom H4n with a Sony ECM-917 microphone I hid in my fanny pack after getting the sound levels right and I just held the directional microphone (set to 120° in this case because I was so close and didn't have to worry as much about crowd noise being on the front row). About 2 minutes before the show ended, my Zoom H2 dropped from the way I had it mounted on the strap around my neck and hit the floor. I thought it had gone over the railing and possibly hit someone in the head. But thank God, it was on the concrete floor but the 8 GB SD card had ejected. So, source 2, being recorded in 96 kHz/24 bit audio, became an incomplete recording. The higher bitrate setting did help me to capture the first 2 GB of the show because the recorder creates a new track every 2 GB as it records to the SD card. But the second track that had started was ruined as the SD card ejected out from the fall as it was recording that 2 GB chunk/track. Thankfully, I had my Zoom H4n and Sony ECM-917 still going and it captured the whole show. I believe the H2's audio may have sounded better as I reviewed it, but the H4n's audio is great too and it is the 100% complete show.
I normally do not EQ or do any sound editing on shows I upload (except rare cases where it's a must) because I know I like to get them raw and have an unaltered copy. I can always make my own changes to shows I get from others or record myself if I'm working off of the master, unedited source. And that's what I did on this show I'm uploading. I left it "as is" and unaltered. All I diod was track, name, check for SBE's (none found), and create the upload of the show.
I hope you enjoy if as much as I did...

Feist: 2004-11-11 Berlin, Germany (FLAC_Master FM BX Digital Source_1 CD)
This is an excellent copy of a 2004 Berlin Feist show in it's lossless format. This copy has not been circulated (even though the show was broadcast and there are other copies out there) and came from a person who wishes to remain anonymous. They transferred it when it aired via a cable network and an FM broadcast digitally connected to their PC's sound card. I've been looking for a lossless copy of this show for some time now. I truly appreciate this recently shared, digitally transferred copy they shared with me and then said I could share with you. The friend sharing their recording also noted that they have never shared this with anyone else except a few family members for personal listening (it's not out there in trading circles). I think the quality of this version is excellent.
I hope this recording will revive any older Feist torrents (reseeds on torrent sites) of shows that were shared before I was familiar with torrents. I am always searching for lossless copies of any Feist show to replace my mp3 copies (all I could find at the time). The 2008 and earlier shows are where I'm "lacking in lossless" versions of shows primarily. I've got a few, but I missed out on the majority of the 2004 - 2008 lossless shows that have been shared in the past. And I'd be very grateful for any reseeds or uploads of any Feist shows from any time period because she is an awesome artist with a lot of talent.

Feist, in my opinion, has one of the best voices I've ever heard. Her music changes too from show to show. The song never remains the same and I like that. It makes each show a non-repetitious, new sounding experience each time. She makes great studio releases, but her true talent is seen and heard through her live shows.
Thanks to the unnamed friend who shared their recording with me to pass along and share with others who may like the same music (or want to try something new they haven't heard)!
I hope you enjoy this show...

Muse: 2013-03-13 Dallas, TX (FLAC_Bootradr Master AUD Source 1_2 CD) (With Sample At End)
Here's a show I recorded a few
months ago and I finally got around to creating an upload/download of
it. This is source 1 (Zoom H2) of two sources (Zoom H4n with a Sony
ECM-917 microphone is source 2) I recorded the show with. I always take
at least two digital recorders so I have a backup if one recording
fails or doesn't come out right.
I do not know Muse's music. Nevertheless, if I go to a show I record a show :-)
I recorded the entire show and it sounds excellent. I recorded the show in 96 kHz/24 bit audio but this upload is the CD standard 44.1 kHz/16 bit down sampled version (ready to burn to disc if you want to). The only issue I had (and shouldn't have had) is when the recorder reached the 2 GB file size and then started a new file. The recorders should still continuously record a show with no breaks as it is suppose to. That didn't happen. There is a very short gap in whichever track (near the end of a song) was being recorded when the 2 GB file size was reached. This has happened a few times in shows I've recorded in the past, but it doesn't happen all of the time. I'm not sure why it happens sometimes, but this night it did.

Even though I'm not classified as a "Muse fan", I did enjoy the show I took my niece too. She was the 13 year old, huge Muse fanatic. And it was a good show. They had a great stage setup and special effects presentation. And as loud as the crowd was, they're not heard very often due to the band being much louder (and this source's digital recorder microphones).
I took a lot of pictures with my Nikon 4 megapixel camera (yea, it was my old one...got a great, new Cannon camera for the upcoming Heart & Bonham show if I can find a way to sneak it in). I chose 24 random pictures from the many taken and included them in a folder in this upload. So, the photos aren't necessarily "professional", but at the same time, we were close enough for them to be good. I'm hoping someone will use some of the better pictures to create some artwork for this show and share it here.
Ironically, I was sitting just a few rows back from where I'd been approached and almost kicked out of the Def Leppard show three times just a few months earlier. My niece's dad had bought the cheap tickets (which wound up being behind the stage for the most part) and then asked me if I'd take her because he couldn't go. As we got to our cheap seating area, the venue ticket taker said the area was closed off and gave us upgraded tickets to the approximately $300 (what the price was for two tickets on the Def Leppard show the year before) seating and we had great seats! And after practically not being able to film and audio record the Def Leppard show (but I still got it on one recorder in a stealth mode...it's uploaded here too) because security was watching me like a hawk, I didn't have any issues whatsoever at this Muse show and never really saw a security team member at all.
Anyhow, it was a great, fun night and I got an excellent recording (actually two) with no issues or problems.
I'm adding a sample, which sounds horrible to me due to the compressed, lossy mp3 audio. It's made up of shots taken at the show put to the song "Madness". I may pull it soon because it doesn't truly represent the FLAC audio's quality. The show sounds much better than this 79 MB sample allows you to hear. But I'll give it a chance and may do this on some other Bootradr Master uploads if I can get over the lossy audio and picture quality :-)
I hope you enjoy the show...

REO Speedwagon: 1981-07-15 Boston, MA (FLAC_SB/FM_Bootradr Remaster_2 CD)
PREFACE NOTE: I have been trying for a week to fix aome errors on this show. I really do not know what is causing them and it doesn't keep you from being able to listen to the show. The primary problem I'm having is there are small, split second audio dropouts between tracks. The audio can still be heard but the audio's volume level drops at the beginning of the next track for a fraction of a second. This is NOT a track-at once (TAO) vs. disc-at-once (DAO) issue. I do not have my software set up to allow 2 second gaps between tracks and these errors are just split second errors too. They would probably go unnoticed by most people if I hadn't mentioned them. It bugs me because I like to create perfect projects. But this one is going to have to wait until I can determine what the cause is. Since this remastered version sounds so much better than the original, unedited version; I'm going ahead and uploading it anyways. In the future, once I figure the issue out or get new software (which may be the issue), I'll re-upload it here.
Here is a show I recently found of an off-air FM recording of REO Speedwagon's Boston 1981 show. The person that recorded it must have had issues with receiving the radio station as clearly as one would want to record a show being broadcast. The sound was good, but it needed cleaning up and remastering of it to remove hiss, the static and pops from the actual transmission over the FM airwaves, and the high's needed to be brought up. And at the same time, the noise that comes with increasing the high end of the audio in a recording needed to be cleaned and removed. I spent the morning doing this work and am very happy with the finished project. It sounds so much better and most of the flaws are not even noticeable anymore. It's a great recording and the project came out even better than I thought I could make it!

I really enjoyed listening to this excellent era show of REO's. I like REO's music even today. But my favorite era of REO Speedwagon music is between 1978 and 1982/83. They always put on great shows and I've seen (and recorded) them myself many times through the years.
Thanks to "bobobo" for the original upload too!
I hope you enjoy the show...

Journey: 1978-06-10 Passaic, NJ (FLAC_Pre-FM Remaster_1 CD)
This is an excellent remastering job on a Journey show from Passaic, New Jersey in 1978. This is a digitally transferred pre-FM recording and sounds so much better than the other sources floating around that were just FM radio-to-tape recordings done across the country. This is the best sounding version of this show I've heard and a lot of time was taken to make this recording just right. Thanks to "msg" for sharing this recording. This recording was aired live on WNEW FM as it was being recorded in 1978.

1978-06-10 Passaic, NJ (SB/Pre-FM Remaster of "The Band Plays On")
My very first Journey bootleg was a much, much lesser and unbalanced silver CD I got from Japan titled "Beginning The Lights". I was happy with it so you can imagine how much more happy I've been in recent years when better recordings and remastered jobs were done to create excellent sounding versions (and more complete too) like this upload.
You can tell the mobile studio doing the recording was unprepared for the show to start at the beginning of the CD. The announcer mentions the new technology allowing them to record from a mobile command post and view what was going on via a TV monitor as opposed to being inside of the venue and broadcasting live from there. I just wonder if the video feed they were seeing was ever professionally recorded? I'd love to see it. I've seen a black and white "Winds of March" from this show and I imagine that's from the feed going to the mobile setup outside of the venue. Wow, how things have changed since those days :-)
I like to add a folder many times and leave the original creator/uploader's text files in it so others can see what they said or see any technical data if there is any. I've done this with this show.
This is an excellent, crank it up loud recording and I hope you enjoy it...

Led Zeppelin: 1980-06-29 Zurich, Switzerland (FLAC_SB/AUD Mix_2 CD)
This is an excellent 1st generation soundboard, two master audience sources mix of Zeppelin's last show in Zurich. This mix makes the show 100% complete and the audience parts are added where the soundboard audio was either cut or not recorded (usually between songs). Both sources sound great and this is revision 0.1 (I think the only revision) I got from my Zeppelin bootleg buddy David. It may have been on Dime in the past but I'm not sure. Also, David may have or may not have been the creator of this SB/AUD mixed source (the best I've heard) 2 CD set. I believe he did the work and created the project, but still, I cannot recall for sure. He's a master at this type of work. But either way, thank you David for sending me the 13 DVD-R discs full of FLAC shows a few years ago!
I left the files just the way they were on the 13 DVD-R's David had sent me of various Zeppelin and other shows. Here are some notes from the text file I got from David:
NOTE 1: Complete show. Audience source 1 used to splice in missing section of Kashmir. Alternate audience recording (Source 2) used to splice missing section between All Of My Love and Trampled Underfoot.
NOTE 2: All track speeds and SBE corrected SBD tracks slowed down -6.16% using Audacity. Speed correction done April 2008. Soundboard series 009 Rev 0.1

I'd talked about uploading some 1980 Zeppelin shows a few months back but sort of forgot about it. This is the first of many I will be uploading over time. While my favorite "era" of Zeppelin's live shows is between 1968 and 1975, I still love the 1977, 1979, and 1980 shows too!
I hope you enjoy the show...

The Eagles: 1977-03-21 Largo, MD (FLAC_SB_1 CD)
Here's a superb soundboard of part of The Eagles show from Largo, Maryland back in 1977. This obviously isn't the complete show because there are only eight songs. This is reportedly from a DVD rip but I've yet to see this video anywhere before. As excellent and this rip sounds, I hope to find the video from it before too long.

I'd really like to find the complete soundboard for this show. I imagine this is about half of the show. I'd need to look at some other 1977 The Eagles shows to see what songs are most likely missing. But if you want a super sounding, incomplete version of the show; then here it is. If anyone has any leads on where to find the full show's audio and/or the video from this concert, please leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I've been back for a week now from my two weeks of vacation and should be back to uploading shows daily withing a few days to a week.
I hope you enjoy the show...
