Here's a new Evanescence show I found on another site earlier yesterday. It is a television broadcast recording of their recent 2012 Rock in Rio (yearly concerts event) performance. It appears the original uploader may have taken a 4:3 ratio video and stretched it to a 16:9 video in creating it.

This is the place for free live concerts and rare audio/video recordings. All posts are NOT officially released material. Nothing is for sale and everything is for free downloading & sharing only. My favorites are Led Zeppelin, Journey, and Feist. But you will find so much more too as this blog progresses because I love music! This site will primarily be a FLAC audio and DVD sharing site with a few rare exceptions. Thank you, and enjoy the show... Bootradr

Today in Music History: May 28th, XXXX
From a few of my boot vaults; today in music history: NOTE: Led Zeppelin must've loved this date :-)...(1) Led Zeppelin played Vorst/Forest National in Brussels, Belgium (1972), (2) San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, CA (1973), and (3) Capital Centre in Landover, MD (1977). Other bands that played on this date are (4) Evanescence at the Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Holland (2007), (5) and Rush in Offenbach, Germany (1979). Some dates that were wrongly reported for this day for many years were Journey's Palladium in New York, NY (correct date was 03/25/78) show and their Cominski Park in Chicago, IL (correct date was 08/09/79) show. I'm working on fixing my search functionality on my list so I'll be able to add every recording I have for each day I report on. Because; there were many other shows on this day.
And don't forget what today is this year in the USA! Memorial Day is for remembering the fallen American veterans throughout the history of the United States of America...

Today In Music History: May 21st, XXXX
A partial look into my boot vaults; on this day in music history: (1) Fleetwood Mac played in Nashville , TN (1977), (2) Journey played in Chicago, IL, (1982), (3) Led Zeppelin played at the Houston Summit in Houston, TX (1977), and (4) REO Speedwagon played at the Wildflower Festival in Richardson, TX (2011). And a lot more great, super sounding shows also took place but they don't pull up without a manual search (at this time). It was a great day in rock 'n' roll concerts...

Today in Music History: May 19th, XXXX
From my boot vaults; on this day in music history: (1) The Cult played the Pinkpop Festival in Gelesen, Holland (1986), (2) Led Zeppelin played the Boston Tea Party in Boston, MA (1969), (3) Sara Bareilles played The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, CA (2006), and (4) Steve Perry did a Rockline interview across the USA (1999) (his first interview after leaving Journey). Here are a few others that didn't pull up by doing a date search: (5) Led Zeppelin played the Tarrant County Convention Center in Ft. Worth (1973), (6) Greatful Dead played the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA (1966), and (7) Sammy Hagar played the Winterland in San Francisco and had special guests Neal Schone and Eddie Money join him for 3 or 4 songs at the end of the concert (great video) (1978) And darn, Fleetwood Mac played in Oakland, CA overnight (05/18/1977). It sounds like it would've been a good concert night across America and in Holland too...

REO Speedwagon: 1978-05-11 St. Louis, MO (FLAC_SB/FM_1 CD)
Here's a great REO Speedwagon concert
from REO's “You Can Tune A Piano But You Can't Tuna Fish” LP tour
that was played across American airwaves back in the day when radio
stations aired live concerts. This show, almost 34 years to the day
from this posting, was before REO's chart breaking LP “Hi
Infidelity” (1981). In 1978; REO was still making a name for
themselves even before they became a household name. And in areas,
like St. Louis and Chicago, they were even bigger and much more
well-known.
What's interesting about this show is
the music being played. “There are no “Take It On The Run”,
“Keep On Loving You”, “Can't Fight This Feeling”, etc songs
that became hits over the next few years because those songs hadn't
been made yet. What you get in this concert is a lot of songs you've
most likely heard, but you also get songs that were seldom/never
played on the radio too. And example of this is REO's “Being Kind
(And Hurt Someone Sometimes)”.
