I've had some early 1973/1974 Kiss requested and that is why I am uploading it a few days prior to its 41st anniversary. It's only four days early anyhow.
This recording is not what you expect. I can say that because we all expect a 1974 recorded FM broadcast to sound sub-par even if it still sounds excellent to us. But this is not the case here and the sound may be closer to superb than excellent in my rating of it.

This is reported as the first known Kiss FM broadcast. And I just got this show late last year too and there are a lot of huge Kiss collectors who know more than I ever will that agreed. Plus, the sharing party , (someone I cannot thank because I cannot determine who it may be) states in their original information that this was discovered through their YouTube "KISS8mmfilms" page.
What strikes me as incredible is how sharp and clean the highs are in this recording too. It sounds like it should be an official release almost. The mix is great in the broadcast and everyone in the band can be heard very cleanly as they sing and play instruments.
I don't know if this is the full show or not? It makes sense it very well may be because Kiss was still pretty new in 1974 and they may (or may not) have been an opening band at the time. But they obviously were getting enough recognition to have been broadcasted over the radio.
It is kind of funny hearing Paul Stanley say at one point in "100,000 Years", and as he is trying to get the crowd to clap their hands, "Come on, don't tell me you may not be clapping because your friends think it's not cool. Why don't you people just loosen up a little bit."
After doing a little internet research, I found another posting of this recording and found some artwork as well. I'm not 100% sure this copy I am uploading is the Zodiac label copy. But since everything matches, I'm adding that artwork too. Also, the information in the other posting of the show says this is the full, eight song set too. So it is the full performance after all which is always a good thing.
I hope you enjoy the show...
