Rush: 2002-10-13 Atlanta, GA (FLAC_SB In House Feed/AUD Master Matrix_3 CD)

At the request of a friend interested in this show, I found it recently on Dime and was able to get a seeder to join in and help me download it.  And it sounds like it is a real gem too!

This is a superb recording of the Rush concert on 2002-10-13 using the in house feed (soundboard) and a master audience matrix production of the concert.

This is the best sounding show I now have from Rush's Vapor Trails tour.  I don't have too many 2002 shows however.  But I imagine as my collection of this tour grows, it will be very hard to beat how greatb this show and the mix in the recording sounds.  I can hear all instruments and vocals perfect as I sample multiple song from each disc via the PC.

Both the in house feed and the audience sources used in the matrix are superb sounding recordings.  And the waveform looks perfect too with no audio clipping.

The in house feed is likely a mono recording like it is in the One Big Victory recording that uses it solely.  Even being a mono mix and not having the stereo audience recording used for a matrix recording like the copy being uploaded now, it is a surprisingly excellent sounding too.  It has a great low end frequency coverage and sounds very clean with great bass.  But of course, this matrix is a much better sounding recording than just the in house feed recording too.

Any Rush fan will enjoy this recording I am sure.  I have not been able to listen to much of the show yet.  I am burning it to disc right now and will be listening very soon.  And I know from the sampling I've done via the PC's Bose speakers, I will not be disappointed with the sound at all as I listen through the digital home theater sound system.

I hope you enjoy the show...
