Van Hallen: 1977-10-XX Warner Studio Demos 1977 (FLAC_SB/Studio_2 CD)

Here's a great sounding 2 CD 1977 studio rarity of Van Halen.  I got this listed as "Van Halen 1977 Warner Demos".  These studio demos have great stereo sound, and even though I didn't do the remastering or know what was done, it sounds much better than my older (much higher generation) copy of many of these tracks do.  My previous recordings of these tracks couldn't have been cleaned up this good because they never sounded this good :-)

Journey: 1980-10-13 Tokyo, Japan (Pro Shot mp4 HD_Bootradr & Ljerk 2012 Project)

Journey - Live at Nakano Sunplaza (Tokyo - October 13th 1980 - Upgraded Audio & Video Enhancement - by Bootradr & Ljerk BL001v1 - 2012)

NOTE: I apologize for the delay in getting the DVD-9 (DL) and DVD-5 HD (mp4) uploads of this show here.  I still need to do some technical data updating on this entry and I will do so as soon as I have a little time to do so.  Until then, I'm uploading the video anyways with some basic information from the previous information I added to the DVD-5 upload before Christmas.  More to follow...

This concert is the same show also mistakenly shared as "Journey - Live at Exhibition Hall (Osaka)" and with a number of other titles containing the incorrect date of October 10th, 1980.

This project contains an enhanced and filtered mp4 video stream (specifications will be updated in this post later) synchronized with a new (much better and lower generation) stereo audio stream. Most versions of this show that have surfaced, with the wrong city, venue, and date, have mono audio.  The stereo audio for this show is very rare and not as easy to find.  Thanks goes to "MysticHealer" from the United Kingdom for getting me this lossless audio source two years ago!

There are very few gaps in the upgraded, stereo audio stream.  And almost all of the gaps/cuts in that new audio stream are between songs and do not affect the music.  These gaps are filled in with the video's original mono audio stream.  It flows perfectly and flawlessly.

Dime Torrent - http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=432263
NOTE: I created a DVD-9 torrent and posted it on Dime.  The torrent doesn't have all of the video enhancements that this mp4 720p HD version does, however; it is great too.  It has feature (like menus, chapters for each song, etc that cannot be added to the mp4 version or file type.  If your a Dime member, you'll know what to do.  If not, sign up for a free account and READ THE RULES.  Go to http://www.dimeadozen.org for their home page.  And remember to keep your sharing ratio at 0.25% or higher so as to not get banned.  It's a much faster download almost always!

Bootradr Comments:

This is a project I've been working on myself over the past two years (since I got the excellent stereo audio source) but have run into too many problems (primarily due to software I have used) along the way.  Until I met Ljerk earlier this year, I'd put this project on the back burner because it wasn't working out right on my end.  I am very happy with the work and help Ljerk has provided!  Without his help, this project would still be just that (a project).

There is a better video source of this show out there and I'm still working on one day getting it.  I've only got a lossy 640 x 480 avi version of that source unfortunately and have lost contact with the person who has the VHS tape of it.  But it does exist I know!  And hopefully, in the not too distant future, it will be available again.  If and when this happens, I'm sure Ljerk and me will make it into the "Definitive Tokyo 1980" Dime torrent :-)

The new, stereo audio source used in this DVD project far surpasses any audio from this show I have ever heard!  You will definitely enjoy it!

Ljerk Comments:

My hobby is video editing. I upload many edited rock concerts to YouTube with the label "DHV".

This DVD5 mp4 UDF DVD-5 HD version is edited with many filters.  This upload is not to the DIME forum's standards due to cropping, colour changes, resizing, noise reduction, video EQ work, and the re-encoding done on this specific project.  The DIME DVD-9 version will also be uploaded here soon so you can download it and compare which version you like best.

I uploaded this balanced 720p HD version (this download) to YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6dcsgy37GA) for those who want to check it out before downloading it.

by Ljerk (DIME account: moron2112, YouTube account: LjerkDiamondHeart)

----------------------------------------------------------
Artwork will be added as it is created.  If anyone wants to create any high quality artwork and share it, please feel free to do so!  Proper credit will be given :-)  Keep in mind that there is a cover needed for the DVD-5 version and a separate one for the DVD-9 version too.

We hope you enjoy the show...

Led Zeppelin: 1969-04-26 San Francisco, CA (FLAC_1st Gen. AUD_2 CD)

Here's a show from early in Led Zeppelin's career.  It's one of their many gigs in San Francisco and it was at the Winterland Ballroom.

This is a first generation copy from the master tapes and it is both sets the band performed at Winterland that night.

In this upload, at the request of the original uploader ("KRW_Co"), I'm leaving all of the files they created intact just as they uploaded them.  I'm not doing any of the things I normally like to do (such as naming tracks for example).  This download is the exact same way I downloaded it once it's unzipped.

There are a tnumber of versions, generations, etc of this show and the artwork to go with many of them.  Even though this version had no artwork, and I did not enclose any in the zipped files, I'm adding some artwork to the bottom of this post from another version of this same show in case anyone wants to save it from the website and use it. The setlist matches the tracks.

Enjoy the show...

Led Zeppelin: 1973-07-06 Chicago, IL Soundcheck (FLAC_SB_1 CD)

Here is an unusual Led Zeppelin recording.  I got my first recording of this soundcheck in the 1990's on a silver CD named "Johnny Kidd & The Pirates".  This copy I'm uploading is the best I've heard from a variety of recordings I have of this soundcheck (it's great)..  This is a recording of Led Zeppelin doing their soundcheck for their show that night in Chicago.  It's rather ironic none of the songs from the soundcheck were songs for the concert (or the 1973 tour).

Thanks to the original uploader and the re-seeder, "lolita", for making this version available!
