Page & Plant: 1996-02-08 Tokyo, Japan (FLAC_AUD_2 CD)

Here is the audience recorded audio, a different source than the Third Eye Productions camera audio, of the third Page & Plant Tokyo concert that occurred 19 years ago today.  Once again, it is superb audio.

These are CD's 5 and 6 out of the 20 CD Hoochie Coochie label box set of all ten performances in the 1996 Japan leg of the Page and Plant tour.  These are the last shows too closing the tour which ended on 1996-02-20.

Thanks goes to "Amduscia" for doing the EAC rips and sharing all 20 silver CD's with us.

While this show sounds great and is a grearformance too, this has to be the most mistake ridden show I have seen before in a Plant and Page concert.  With the mess up and second starts to "The Rain Song" and "Tea For One" and then the total abandonment of "Yallah" when they couldn't even get that song started, that is a lot of mess ups alone.  It makes it worth checking this show out over because it is very rare.  As I mentioned in the 2 DVD post of this show below that I uploaded it yesterday, the band seems a lot more relaxed and sort of sloppy in their performance.  As I also mentioned, it wasn't a bad thing either.

Whether you check out the 2 CD Hoochie Coochie audience recording I'm uploading now or the 2 DVD Third Eye Productions copy of the show (or both), I think you'll enjoy the show and the quality of sound.  And you might enjoy the rare glimpse into mistakes by two of the most well known rock 'n' roll artists too.

I hope you enjoy this show...
