This is another show I wanted to upload last week but due to a busy day was unable to get everything ready to upload.  It would have been this show's 46th anniversary at the time had I been able to upload it when I had planned to in April 1st.  However, there are a few confusing dates for this show too.  But this one, April 1st, seems to be the most consistently accepted and thought to be correct date.

This is a superb sounding soundboard of Janis Joplin and The Kozmic Blues Band performing in The Netherlands in April of 1969.

The sound and mix is superb and so is Janis' voice.  The only thing I really don't lack about this era of Joplin's music is the horns added to her band after leaving Big Brother and The Holding Company.  That and the lack of real guitar solos.  But Joplin still carries the show perfectly and it really does sound nice.

If you like Janis Joplin's voice and music, then you will like this soundboard of this show too.

I'm not going to really say much more since I am trying to get this show uploaded now other than (a) it contains superb stereo separation and (b) "Summertime" is one of the best versions I've heard her sing live.
