One thing I've always liked about Zeppelin and for the most part despise about today's artists is they didn't get involved in whatever the ongoing topics, problems, or discussions were in their day as they played concerts. They got up on stage and rocked the house. They didn't start talking about Vietnam, drugs, or whatever the rest of the people were talking or thinking about. They didn't use the stage to voice their opinions but they did use it to voice their talent! And that's what people wanted to hear. Today, if you don't have some topic you stand for and fight for even when you shouldn't be you aren't considered "an artist" I guess? Ahh the good ole days!

Another testament as to how great things were back in the day is the recorder this show was taped with. According to the lineage, the tape recorder's built in microphone was used! There is no distortion or problems that plague modern recorders and cameras often in today's equipment due to cheap microphones that distort if someone farts. The sound is full and rich and sounds great-to-excellent (and even superb as halfway through "Dazed And Confused" is proving) in this show.
Like last night (or early this morning really), I'm listening to this show as I make the upload tonight. In fact, I'm done talking about it and I'm going to go enjoy it as soon as I can get this upload going :-)
I hope you enjoy the concert...
