These are TEMPORARY links for a show I promised to get uploaded again as soon as I could. These links will be good for 7 DAYS ONLY from the time they're uploaded.
I have no file sharing site anymore and I have been looking for a good one that is free user friendly as well as one that allows me to store at least a few TB's of data. The cost involved as well as the sites that meet the criteria have me in limbo right now. I can't afford what I'd like to use so I am using what I think is the best service for free users. It's WeTransfer and they have fast speeds and users can download multiple links simultaneously. There are limitation to downloading simultaneously and I don't know if it's based on file sizes or number of downloads at once? So if you get a few downloads going and then you can't download any more, just let a download or two finish and then try the remaining links. WeTransfer is FAST so that is really good.
This early post is a preparation for the 3 DVD 1980-08-04 superb Knebworth video. It's also to let those who have requested this show again know to keep a lookout for it now. As soon as the links become available, likely sometime today, I'll post them here.
This is the original link to the show and information:

This is the place for free live concerts and rare audio/video recordings. All posts are NOT officially released material. Nothing is for sale and everything is for free downloading & sharing only. My favorites are Led Zeppelin, Journey, and Feist. But you will find so much more too as this blog progresses because I love music! This site will primarily be a FLAC audio and DVD sharing site with a few rare exceptions. Thank you, and enjoy the show... Bootradr

Thank you so much! It looks great so far, the only thing I have noticed is that there is no audio on the last 3 songs. I don't know if it is my side or the download. It's alright though because I'm still trying to burn disc 1 haha
ReplyDeleteI always forget to reply in the box for the comments being made so it alerts the original person via e-mail that made the original comment :-) Just check the other comments and you will see my other two replies...

Hmmm, I just checked my copy and there is definitely audio on the last three tracks. Are you playing the DVD from an external drive possibly? I know that sometimes I run into issues (the data doesn't transfer fast enough) that vary, including the loss of audio, when I try playing videos off an an external drive. Hopefully it all works fine when you get it done. If not, let me know. But there is definitely audio (and I just double checked to confirm on what I uploaded) when I check. I'll keep a watch for any replies...

Yea this is definitely on my end because when I go to extract the file with WinRAR it says I need the following volume to continue and it says Part 6 so I don't know what's going on. It is only the very first VTS_01_1 file. I'll have to look farther into it
DeleteI fixed it, for some reason the video player I was using on my computer did not like that one file ha
DeleteAlso, be sure you have a file set that is 11.1 GB when the files are unzipped and check the md5 file and see if it has any errors being reported. Hopefully it will all work fine but let me know if you run into any troubles...

Thanks very much for posting this! I first got a VHS copy (many generations removed) of the 8-11-79 Knebworth show in the late 1980s! This is SO much better. Cheers!
