Led Zeppelin: 1970-09-06 Honolulu, HI (FLAC_AUD_Fan Reworked_1 CD)

Today is the 45th anniversary of this Led Zeppelin Honolulu, Hawaii concert.  This is another of the many copies out there of this recording and is a fan edited copy that appears to have no EQ work done to it.  The edits mentioned were removals of gaps in audio and removal of fade outs in audio on the 2002 Shout To The Top (STTT) label's release.

This is an excellent sounding show and the waveform shows no clipping in the audio either.  I've uploaded at least one or two more copies of this concert here in the past.  And since I am trying to get a lot done right now, your best bet for a review of the show can be found in a previous upload of the show.  The sound is likely very close too in audio characteristics but each copy does sound different.  And just because a copy I uploaded in the past might state I think it's the best copy, that applies to when that post was made.  I am constantly getting new copies of the same shows and it's always possible I've gotten upgrades to any show between now and then.  I'm not saying this has happened here.  But it could have and I do not know?

There was no mention of any EQ work being done on this copy and the sharing party just mentioned they had:
1. Edited out a transition gap between tracks 3 and 4.
2. Cuts in "Moby Dick" have been repaired.
3. The fade outs and ins between the encore track (tracks 7 and 8) have been removed.

These were the only edits mentioned by the sharing party.  They did however create and include some artwork and include it too.

I did have to align the sector boundaries (fix SBE's) on the recording since that had not been done before I got this copy.

There have always been rumors there is more of this show recorded as well as the extra recording not included had been passed on to (Robert Plant I think).  I don't know and if the rest of the show ever does surface, you can be guaranteed I'll be sharing it once I get a copy.  But meanwhile, this is an excellent capture of the night to preview and listen to until then.

I hope you enjoy the show...
