Led Zeppelin: 1975-01-25 Indianapolis, IN (FLAC_AUD_2 CD)

Today is the 40th anniversary of this Led Zeppelin show that seems to go overlooked at lot of times.  I'm not sure why, but I just don't see it mentioned often.

This show I believe may be the last time Led Zeppelin played "The Wanton Song" live and I think it was the last show (at least in 1975) where the played "How Many More Times."  However, the band finally added "No Quarter", a staple in Led Zeppelin live shows to me, and they kept it.  And of course they quit playing "When The Levee Breaks" too.

This is a clean and easy to hear show.  However, some songs are incomplete. Unfortunately the taper stopped taping a few times in just a few songs during the show.

Both copies of this show I have test lossy with TLH.  And as I mentioned recently, I'm sick and tired of getting bad results in lossiness (CDDA/MPEG audio) testing so I did a spectral analysis (SA) and a frequency analysis (FA) in Audacity.  I also did an SA in another program on my PC named AVS Audio Editor.  The big problem for me at this point is understanding how to read the results correctly.  I've asked for help and hopefully I will get some with the results I posted from the tests over on R-O.  I've included the FA and SA results in a folder in this download and if any of you can make better sense of them, please let me know what you determine.

UPDATE: I have some good news.  While some of it is above my pay grade (or knowledge :-) ) the guys over at R-O confirmed this is NOT a lossy source recording.  There are a lot of "audio geeks" (mnakes me jealous what they know) over there and it seems this was likely messed with before silver CD pressings and EQ'ed with rolling off of some frequencies that makes it look like (to program like TLH that cannot adequately tell) a lossy sourced recording.  But it isn't.  In fact, the recording and the issue of it (1995) pre dates mp3's or lossy audio anyhow.  This information is not in the text file since it is an update so you may want to copy and paste it if you think you may not remember.

I hope you enjoy this show..
