Led Zeppelin: 1971-09-28 Osaka, Japan (FLAC_AUD Source 1 & 2 2nd Gen_3 CD)

Here is a great, out of the ordinary setlist show on its 43rd anniversary today that goes unnoticed many times.  There are two sources, both second generation copies, that make up this very unique show being uploaded here.  Source 1 is the majority of the recording and the better sounding source which runs through the "Whole Lotta Love" medley where Source 2 kicks in for "C'mon Everybody" and runs for the remainder of the show.  The recording has been speed corrected and some other non audio edits have also been done to make it a better listen.  I can't believe I've not uploaded this show before and was quiet surprised to realize I hadn't last night.

There are a number of different copies or labels with their recordings of this show.  Many run at incorrect speeds.  But this copy has been speed corrected.

Led Zeppelin was really playing some out of the ordinary old songs on this night.  The did this on all kinds of shows, but not usually these many "non Led Zeppelin" songs in one show or night.  This is a very unique show and a great one for any Zeppelin collector.

After comparing a few different copies of this date, I do believe this is the best sounding recording of the show I have too.  The labels seem to have had issues with their mixing of the show and they overpowered the bass or just made a muddy mess of their projects in some cases.  There were some other copies that sounded pretty good too though.  But since I know this copy is speed corrected, and it does sound the best unedited audio-wise I believe, I'm sharing it first.  I can always share the others at later dates if there is any interest in them.

I'm sorry this is getting uploaded so late but that couldn't be helped.  I'm still getting it uploaded before midnight on 9/28 and I hope you enjoy the concert from 43 years ago today...
