It was 33 years ago today when REO Speedwagon performed this excellent concert in Michigan.  This was a turning point for the band due to the fact they were getting ready to, but still had not, released their famous 1981 LP "Hi Infidelity" yet.  But they obviously had a few of the still unreleased songs ready to play.

One thing unique about this show is REO playing some of their new songs off of their upcoming, soon to be released LP "Hi Infidelity".  This album is what catapulted the band into stardom in 1981.  REO had been doing great in certain areas of the country in previous years.  But 1981's "Hi Infidelity" put them on the charts and made the band famous.  And in this concert, they play a mix of their 1970's songs and a couple of their soon to be chart breaking new songs not even released yet.  You got to love it!
