Here's a great sounding show from Journey's Ontario show a few nights ago. I'm leaving this upload intact. I'm not needing to rename (or name) songs, create and md5 checksum file, etc because it has already been done by the uploader. Thanks to "pmusic" for this mini disc digital transfer of the show they recorded.

This is only the fourth Journey show I've seen surface this tour. I'm sure there are more recordings of other shows out there, but now that I think about it, I haven't even uploaded mine from a month ago earlier :-) So I'm to blame too!
I hope you enjoy the show...

This is the place for free live concerts and rare audio/video recordings. All posts are NOT officially released material. Nothing is for sale and everything is for free downloading & sharing only. My favorites are Led Zeppelin, Journey, and Feist. But you will find so much more too as this blog progresses because I love music! This site will primarily be a FLAC audio and DVD sharing site with a few rare exceptions. Thank you, and enjoy the show... Bootradr

Led Zeppelin: 2007-12-10 London, England (15+ Source AUD Shot DL DVD)
Here is an excellent audience shot, double layer DVD project from a source I do not know. I got this about two years ago and it surpasses all other videos of this concert I have ever seen/got. The DVD builder used Adobe Premiere to build this project too, and he put a lot of time (a few years) into doing it. It was worth the wait. This is the full show! It's all audience recorded video of the concert.
Just a quick note here...this is a double layer (DL) DVD project. This is how I like to do my projects so as to not compress the video/audio in the final, finished production. I will do this, or sometimes, make the project a 2 DVD production. In order to burn this to a DVD-R, be sure to use a DL DVD-/+R disc. It can be compressed with many programs and rendered to fit onto one DVD -R. But why do this and lose any quality? I wouldn't.
There is news of this concert being officially released on DVD and CD on November 19, 2012!!! It is a done deal. Trailers can be seen on YouTube everywhere. So if you haven't seen this show, here's your chance to see another, great version of it early. I guarantee you it will make you want to buy the Swan Song label, official version for sure. The official release looks like it's going to be excellent; but more on that later.

Def Leppard: 2012-09-03 Dallas, TX (Bootradr Master AUD_2 CD)
Here's my Zoom H2 recording from the 2012 Dallas Lita Ford, Poison, and Def Leppard concert at the American Airlines Center.
The concerts were all very good shows. However, the venues security/employees were not bootlegger friendly. I was also video recording the concerts when, during Lita Ford's "Close My Eyes Forever", I had to close my lens for the rest of the show. Unfortunately, she was the first act. So other than my friend's mp4 regular digital camera video (actually looks and sounds darn good) of parts of a few songs and one or two full songs, I have no video of Def Leppard. I was stopped three times from recording audio/video of the show and was being watched like a hawk by the venue security. I realize now, we were most likely right next to their command post.
The tickets to this show were sent to me by a fellow bootlegger in Chicago to record Def Leppard. He spent a lot of money to get really great seats, not just for me, but for my friend who drove me too (I'm legally blind and can no longer drive). So I was not going to let the AA Center deter me from getting the Def Leppard show for him at least. I went to the restroom after the Poison show, figured out a way to use the Zoom H2's recorder from the pouch on the side of my camera bag, and did the best I could. I did some amplifying and EQ work and I am actually very happy with the sounds outcome. You seldom hear any audience except between songs, and even then, it is not bad at all.

Overall; it was a great night and the performances were even better than I expected them to be (not that I expected anything bad). Our location and/or the AA Canter area we were in had superb sound. My friend, digitaljourney, used his iPhone and measured the decibel levels at 106 db :-) But it was a clean and clear 106 db, and other than being left alone to film and record everything, everything else went great.
A special THANK YOU to the fellow bootlegger who'll remain anonymous until/unless I get their consent to post their name!!!
For all others, and as always, enjoy the show..

Led Zeppelin: 1975-05-24 London, England (Pro Shot 2 DVD_EVSD BD-R > DVD Rip)
This is by far the best version of this show to date (with the exception of the Blu-Ray Recordable, or BD-R, version it was sourced from). This is one of the two known professionally shot Led Zeppelin 1975 shows. There are likely others in the Zeppelin vaults, but as to wheter or not they'll ever see the light of day, that is unknown. The second known professionally shot show is from the night after this one. The 1975-05-25 show is an excellent show too and was Led Zeppelin's final night, back home in England, on their 1975 tour.show
I've had so many versions of this show since the VHS days that I cannot remember them all. I started out with VHS videos of this show that were full of issues ranging from tracking, very high generation copies (bad quality), to sound issues. And I enjoyed watching them still back then because it was what was available in those days, But with the advent of high speed internet, and its substantial growth in the last 6 - 7 years, better versions of this 1975-05-24 (and the next night) show have been surfacing. And this is a great one.
2012-10-28 SPECIAL NOTE: I got the "official" (not officially released) EVSD Blu-Ray silver DVD of this show today at the Austin Record Convention! As happy as I was/am about that, unfortunately; it has some sort of forced formatting to the 4:3 aspect ratio and cannot be stretched even when using that setting on my Blu-Ray player :-( It has no special audio encoding (like 5.1 Dolby Digital) and is just 2.0 Dolby Digital too. It is a great picture though, but I'd have been perfectly happy with this Blu-Ray rip I'm uploading too!

This is a great show that portrays Led Zeppelin performing about half way through the band's lifespan (1968 - 1980...excluding their reunion show in 2007 of course). And this is the last tour during the 1968 - 1980 lifespan, while drummer John Bonham was still alive, where they played the song "Dazed And Confused". What a shame. Unlike the officially released video, "The Song Remains The Same", of the compilations of their July 27th, 28th, and 29th 1973 concerts at New York's Madison Square Garden; this concert is 100% complete. And there are no breaks between songs where they show other things like the NYPD officer refusing to be interviewed, the band backstage talking, etc either like in the officially released "The Song Remains The Same" DVD. I'm not criticizing the DVD and highly recommend buying "The Song Remains The Same". I wholeheartedly believe in supporting the artists I like by purchasing their officially released material. But I also love seeing an uncut concert all the way through like it's meant to be seen too :-)
The next night's show/video, which I'll upload soon, was the last time they played "Dazed And Confused" until their 2007-12-10 London, England reunion show. And the 2007 reunion show (only one show) was pretty much their farewell show it sounds like. I'll upload that one too in the future. Maybe on December 10th if not before then :-)
Anyhow, this show being put up now is a great way to see Led Zeppelin in full force. Hopefully, one day not too far off, they'll actually release this show officially. I'd be happy to yank it from my site because it was released!!!
I hope you enjoy the show...

Lita Ford: 2012-09-03 Dallas, TX (FLAC_Bootradr Master AUD 44/16_1 CD)
Here's my Zoom H4n recording from last night's Lita Ford, Poison, and Def Leppard concert at the American Airlines Center.
The concerts were all very good shows. However, the venues security/employees were not bootlegger friendly. I was also video recording this show when, during "Close My Eyes Forever", I had to close my lens for the rest of the show.
The story goes on, but I'm tired of thinking about it. I had three attempts by the venue to stop me. The first one I just mentioned. But they didn't see the two digital recorders; one attached to the bottom of the camcorder. And then I had a second visit before the Poison show startted. That guy told me I couldn't record with my Zoom H4n digital recorder, but he didn't notice the Zoom H2 recorder hanging around my neck. And as if that wasn't enough, then came the "you can't record with that" (the Zoom H2) about 5 minutes later. So I never got to record the second act. The ironic thing is this. I downloaded the Poison show I couldn't record (http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=419172 if you want it) another bootlegger recorded and uploaded to Dime this morning :-)
Overall, and with a little EQ work, I think the recording will come out nice. It was due to the great seats that this was even a possibility too.
I didn't have a chance at filming the rest of the concert because the staff was watching me like vultures. I've recorded a lot of shows through the years and have had only one other time I had this much of an issue doing so. I've been told to "stop recording", "you can't do this or that", etc. a number of times. But give them 30 seconds and they fade away and never come back. But this definitely wasn't the case last night.

Overall; it was a great night and the performances were even better than I expected them to be (not that I expected anything bad). Our location and/or the venue had superb sound. My friend who also went used his iPhone and measure the decibel levels at 106 db :-) But it was a clean and clear 106 db, and other than being left alone to film and record everything, everything went great.
A special THANK YOU to the fellow bootlegger who'll remain anonymous until/unless I get their consent to post their name!!! I'm sorry I couldn't get the Def Leppard show video recorded (actually there are a few songs that are great my friend got with his iPhone...surprised me how clear and clean it is) for you, but there will be other Def Leppard shows and I will get one for you. And I did get the whole concert audio recorded too :-) Just let me work on getting the best sound out of it and I'll get it to you.
For all others, and as always, enjoy the show..
