Led Zeppelin: 1975-03-10 San Diego, CA (FLAC_AUD_3 CD)

I just finished up an EAC rip of this show, a show from 39 years ago today.  I bet I haven't listened to this show in the lat 15 years.  It's been so long, I'd forgotten about it.  This isn't a widely circulated show from what I see.  I've only got one version of it myself and it's this TDOLZ version.  It's not the greatest sounding show nor is it the worst sounding either.  It sounds good in songs like "No Quarter" and "less good" in heavier sounding parts of the show.  Still, it's a capture of a night in the history of Led Zeppelin concerts and one all fans should be able to enjoy.

LINEAGE:
1999 CD-R trade > EAC > WAV > CD WAV Editor (to create separate tracks for "WLL" and "Black Dog") > Audacity (for embedding metadata/track titles into FLAC tracks) > FLAC 8 > TLH > you

Note: "Whole Lotta Love" and "Black Dog" were one track originally on the TDOLZ version and I created a track separator between the tracks like TDOLZ should have done.

I know there other labels and generations of this show out there.  When I have a little more time to do so, I'm going to try and get the unknown generation copy originally shared by Susan Hendricks.  I'm not sure why there is no Mike Millard version of this show?  Is it possibly he missed a Led Zeppelin show?  Or the better scenario I hope for, he didn't miss the show but it hasn't made it's way to the surface yet?

UPDATE 2014-03-11:  I found I do already have a FLAC copy of the unverified 4th generation (Susan Hendricks) recording of this show I mentioned above and it does sound much better.  Maybe I'll upload it too next year if not sooner?  If anyone's interested in it, leave a comment and let me know.  When I see it, I'll go ahead and upload it then.

Enjoy the show...

  2. Hello kind Meow, thanks for the comment! And I'd be happy to upload the Susan Hendrick low generation version too. Give me a few days to do so, and if you ever think I forgot, don't be afraid to remind me either :-) Most times, I see comments on the most recent posts I just uploaded faster. So keep a lookout for the Hendricks' version soon...

  4. I'm sorry everyone interested, but I'm running behind on requests now. I'm doing drive backups and regular maintenance but I do have this in my REQUESTS folder (the Hendricks copy) and will be uploading it this month for sure!
